J.W. joined forces with Eddy and Paul in 2021 to form the Thaxton Team. Being raised around real estate, J.W. started investing in rental properties while serving as a career firefighter after graduating from college. His love for real estate and desire to help others achieve their dream led him to obtain his real estate license and transition from a career to a volunteer firefighter.
J.W. has extensive experience managing investment property and loves helping clients build and manage their real estate portfolio. He also enjoys helping first-time home buyers navigate the home buying process and providing guidance for complex real estate transactions.
In 2022, J.W. was recognized as the New Face of the Year by the Athens Area Association of Realtors and received the Circle of Distinction award in his first year as a real estate agent.
J.W. is married with three boys and enjoys spending time outdoors and working out in his spare time.
